Mulch is Beautiful

Steve and I decided it was time to spruce up the front & back yard just a little bit. All it took was a few new plants, about 2 1/2 yards of mulch and 2 days. And then it took longer to scrub our mulch stained hands, knees and feet. It was fun working together and seeing such great progress and now our beautiful yard. At least until our next yard project.

Texas Skies

This was our beautiful drive on our way up north to Decatur, Texas. I saw the beautiful skies in this first picture and then everyone started searching for more beautiful pictures of our Texas Skies. These are my favorites. And I guess since they aren't pictures of my kids, it was easy to only pick a few of the many the kids had me take.

Since blogging is my way of journaling, I thought November 4, 2008 was a day in history that will never be forgotten and was worth journaling. Barack Obama was elected the next president of the United States.
