The Lake House

{I can't just pick a few pictures}

We had a mini family reunion at Scott & Kari's Lake House on Medina Lake. Steve, his brother Scott, his sister Lisa and their families were all able to spend a few fun filled fabulous days together at the lake. We had some "Peatree" moments. I don't even know if I am spelling this word right, but it means oh so cute and adorable, according to my teenage niece Aubrey. This word was adopted by many while at the lake. My boys had the best fishing experience ever. Ethan, I am sure, caught at least 20 fish. Thanks to some Velveeta Cheese, Uncle Scott's fishing pole and Uncle Dan's few instructions. We did a lot of cliff jumping, 3-man intertubing, kneeboarding, lizard catching, treasure hunting, pokemon card playing & trading, yummy eating, planet watching, puppet shows, relaxing, wedding dress ghost hunting, dock jumping & swimming and lots of good-bye hugs. We love our family and Thanks Scott & Kari for some great memories.

Lauren's Bed

Lauren can fall asleep anywhere except her very own bed. Last night when I went to bed I found her on the couch and decided to leave her there. However, this morning she was in bed with Rachel. Some nights she will fall asleep at my feet while I am doing something on the computer. We couldn't find her another night because she had fallen asleep under the dining room table. She just won't admit that she is tired and retire to her bed after she goes goes goes all day long. We might have to nickname her Louisa go-go #2 after her Grandma. This is a picture of Grandma Spendlove after going for about 5 days and 4 nights on our "Girl's Only" vacation to Florida and the Bahamas.

Cannon Cousin's Camp

These are just a FEW of my favorite pictures from Cousin's Camp. This is our 2nd Annual Cousin's Camp and we are off to a great tradition. There are 12 cousins and 4 aunts, however cousin Hailey and Aunt Janna weren't able to make it. We hope to see them next year along with cousin #13. We held it at our house this year and we had a great time in Galveston, the pool, the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory, the Antique Rose Emporium, scenic driving detours, watching family videos, making camp T-shirts, sleeping on the trampoline, cousin spot-lights, Skittles Service Jar, playing dolls & gamecube, jumping in the bounce house, awards ceremony, singing our camp song, eating Uncle Steve's BBQ Pizza, Grandpa's hot fudge sundaes and lots more and getting along great while creating wonderful memories. The Aunts are all still amazed how fun it was. It really was!
