Halloween 2011

Halloween with the Spendloves: Ethan-Box of Wheaties, Matthew-Punk Rocker, Rachel-Katy Gaga or Lady Perry, Lauren-Rainbow Ballerina Princess and Jacob-the Cutest Teddy Bear Ever.

We had Chili and Cornbread with the neighbors before we went trick or treating.  This year the kids didn't have Halloween bags they used pillow cases.  And pillow cases hold A LOT of candy!!!!!

What can I say....these two know how to cook. Steve with his Heavenly Hash, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Cilantro Chicken and anything on the Grill. Ethan with his Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies, Blueberry Muffins and Breakfast Burritos. I am so lucky!!!

2011 School Carnival

Nothing like a great Fall School Carnival!  We had some delicious tacos for dinner, played some games, talked with lots of friends and came home with about 10 2 liter bottles of soda!  Yikes!!!!

So You Think You Can Dance?

Steve got tickets to the "So You Think You Can Dance?" finalist show that came to Bakersfield. So we took the girls. My phone wasn't taking good pictures that night and didn't get one of Rachel.

But it was cool to watch!

 This was Lauren's favorite dance. The girl with the pretty white dress.

 

Sasha Mallory on the far left was a finalist from Bakersfield.  So there was lots of extra excitement from the audience.

Independence Jog-A-Thon

Two of our kids just happen to be in one of the five classrooms that don't have smart boards in their school.  So we were encouraging this fundraiser.

Matthew + Flag Football

Matthew says it was fun and that he was the tallest, fastest and best one there. He thought all the other boys parents made them play flag football to work out.    {Whatever!}

It was good for him to try this out and hopefully get it out of his system. :)
