Little by Little @ the beach-Ventura Pier

We had to go to the beach sometime while in California but we just couldn't make the timing right with the weather. So the day we went was a little cold. We started out admiring it from a distance and thought we would take a walk down the pier, but we never made it.

Of course, Matthew was the first to be drawn in.

Then Ethan decided to join him.

Fun Day at the Beach!

Filmore Fish Hatchery

We had our own little field trip to the Filmore Fish Hatchery. There are alot of fish to feed. And it was neat to see the fish in different stages/sizes ready to be taken to their new home. The boys only wished they had their fishing poles. Actually, you probably don't need a fishing pole. You can just catch them with your hands there are so many.

Dinner with High School Buddies

We were invited over to Todd and Irene Bond's  house for a nice BBQ dinner.  Their daughter gave Lauren this super cute Minnie Mouse Outfit that she will get to wear to Disneyland.  We also made a visit to Ron &   Carey's for dinner with this massive pizza.  Steve had a great time catching up with his high school buddies.

Shopping with Great Grandma

I thought about taking the girls downtown to the Los Angeles American Girl Doll Store, but saw online that there was one in Glendale which is real close to my Grandma's house. So we decided to take Great Grandma with us and then do a little shopping for Grandma too while we were out.
Well, the store in Glendale was just a temporary one during the holidays, so it wasn't that exciting. But the shopping center that it was in was beautiful. Here is a token picture, then off to the galleria to do some shopping for Great Grandma. We found what she needed and Rachel and Lauren were troopers, so Great Grandma treated us to McDonald's.

As you can see, she loves having her picture taken. Every time I took the camera out, she would look a way. We love being able to spend time with her and we love you Grandma!

Visit to the St. John's in Moorpark

I always look forward to visiting my Aunt Virginia and Uncle Bob's house. Every time we go lots of family come to visit. I love visiting with my cousin's. And it is also fun because I used to live in the house next door to them. However, never while they were living there. And I always think about how much fun we could of had if we never moved to Texas. I've always had issues with moving to Texas, I was only seven, but I just can't seem to ever leave now.

We're eating yummy BBQ hamburgers and some delicious cookies that Linda made while Uncle Bob is manning the table with all the kids.
