Ethan went to his first Captains Soccer Practice at Liberty High. Which means the team captains were conducting them in preparation for conditioning for tryouts. An older kid, one with a beard as Ethan said, kicked his ankle. He called asked that I come get him. He got kicked on the inside and said his whole foot jerked to the outside. So I decided to just keep an eye on it.
THEN Matthew was playing soccer at school during recess and got kicked in the ankle and called me to come get him and take him to the doctor. SOOOOO, I decided to take them both into urgent care.
The outcome, Matthew has a sprained ankle and Ethan a possible fracture on the outside of his tibia near the ankle. So he got sent home with a splint and crutches, until the x-ray was viewed by the lab to make sure that it was a fracture.
Friday-Monday on crutches and loving every minute of it, NOT! We got a phone call that said it was not fractured. Hip Hip Hooray!!! So, just take it easy boys. Matthew we want to watch you play CCB soccer and Ethan we want to see you try out for the High School Soccer Team. GEEEEEEZZZZZ!!!!!!
