Halloween from Grandma & Grandpa

We recieved a nice package in the mail the day before Halloween from Grandma & Grandpa Cannon. It was the beginning of a major sugar HIGH! It was a wonderful surprise and the kids loved it. THANKS so much Mom & Dad!

Field Day with the 5th Graders

Mrs. Mateer's Millionaires
Ethan doing the money money sign.

This is their cheer:

We will, We will Rock you down, Shake you up
Like a volcano about to errupt.
Watch out world, here we come.
Mighty Millionaires are #1.
Everybody knows that we are the best.
So we're going to put you to the test.
Buckle up your Seat Belts, Step on the Gas.
Watch that Race go by fast.
We will , We will Rock You Sock You, Pick you Up and Drop You.
Hope you have some money cause this ain't funny.
Cha Ching!
This was totally the coolest cheer ever and my camera was on time lapse when I recorded it and so I am bummed that I don't have it. I'll have to have them do it for me again some other time.

Lauren's Silly Hat Parade

Lauren's Preschool Class with Teacher Ms. Nikki

This was one of my many proud moments as a mother. And I am so looking forward to the many more that Lauren will give me.

Today at her preschool they had a Silly Hat Parade. Lauren didn't want to wear a silly hat, she wanted to wear her butterfly hat. Before the parade even started, a friend of mine, Kelley, said that Lauren didn't need to wear a silly hat. I am sure she was referring to the fact that she is just so adorable and cute already.

She definitely didn't need to wear a silly hat to be silly. You have to watch these videos. I took them from Marci's blog because my camera setting was on time lapse. Thank goodness her sweet little Ella was brave enough to stand so close to Lauren the whole time. Thanks Marci.

Field Day with the 2nd Graders

Mrs. Leander & Rachel
Mrs. Shoebroek & Matthew

Matthew & Rachel had their field day on Wednesday. I started out wearing two jackets, then wishing that I had shorts on by the time we were done. The weather here is either so unpredictable or just plain hot.

I am Rachel's Homeroom Mom and tried to help out as much as I could, but also tried to be there for Matthew. It is always fun juggling those two.

We all had a great time, even Lauren.

Rachel's class won first place for the 2nd Grade Field Day and got the GOLD Rhino. I am still not quite sure what that means, yet, but it is a good thing.

Cute, Cute, Cute!

Rachel took a picture of me doing the "Ball in Plunger" Teacher/Parent Relay. We didn't win, but we did pretty good considering Rachel's teacher is 50 years old.
You should be proud of me, I had some self control and didn't post all the field day pictures.

Game Ball

Matthew has been having a great time playing baseball. We really really like his coaches. It has been a fun season that is quickly coming to a close.

Matthew got the game ball for having two good plays at second base and did a heck of a job catching.
